Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened 2 cups white sugar 1 tsp vanilla 4 eggs 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground NUTMEG
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C)
Cream together butter, sugar & vanilla in a medium bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Gradually stir them into creamed mixture. Refrigerate until firm.
Drop by heaping teaspooonfulls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned around the edges.
